    The Application Support Engineer will collaborate with other internal teams and is responsible for solving a variety of operational aspects of BetTech’s application platform.  Responsibilities will include the development, maintenance and implementation of all technical assistance documentation, reporting and controlling elements, including supporting the Client Support team as required.  The most successful resume should highlight qualifications like computer systems expertise, applications proficiency, customer service orientation, problem solving skills, attention to details, and pro-activity.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    The following minimum education, experience and skills are required to perform the job

    • Demonstrable knowledge in solving a technical problem, no fixed term experience required
    • Previous production system (application) support work
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Application monitoring and support experience beneficial
    • Working knowledge of MySQL and MySQL debugging
    • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
    • Methodical approach to work
    • Understanding of Incident management
    • Ability to learn and master employer-specific software
    • Written and verbal communication skills
